The MicroTREK Guided Wave Radar level transmitter is designed for continuous level measurement of conductive or non-conductive liquids and solids. The MicroTREK level indicator works according to the well-known TDR (Time Domain Reflection Measurement) principle. Micropulses are sent along a probe guide at the speed of light. As soon as the impact reaches the surface of the medium, it is reflected back to the electronic module. The reflected signal depends on the dielectric constant of the material, the feasibility of measurement is er ≥ 1.4.
TDR technology is not affected by the characteristics of the environment and place. The measurement is also unaffected by changes in the physical properties of materials such as temperature, pressure, dielectric constant. Main application areas; agriculture, building materials, chemical industry, food and beverage, power plants, oil industry, water / wastewater industry.
